When you are looking for a compression stocking, chances are there are other factors about your leg health that you need to take into consideration as well. Maybe your swelling has caused skin changes which in turn resulted in weeping edema, ultimately putting you at risk for infection. Maybe you've previously recovered from an ulcer and need something that won't irritate the healing wound. Regardless of the reason, if you need to maintain a healthy condition and hygiene in your feet and legs, this compression stocking is right for you. Presenting...

The Medi Plus, now with Zinc pyrithione.

Zinc pyrithione is an antibacterial and anti-fungal agent. It is excellent for ulcers, staph infections and controls odor-causing bacteria which can cause foot odor. Usually when you wear socks when you have fungus under the nails this will cause the fungus to grow faster due to the warmth and moisture in the socks. The Medi Plus anti-fungal will actually combat the fungus and retard the growth of fungus under your toenails in conjunction with the anti-fungal ointment you are using on your nails.

This compression stocking is available in 20-30mmHg, 30-40mmHg and 40-50mmHg compression with open toe or closed toe with reinforced heel and toe. Because of the anti-bacterial properties, this is excellent for any weeping, reddening of the skin as well as ulcers.Medi Plus comes in knee high, thigh high, pantyhose and leotard styles in beige with knee high also in black. You can also get it in extra-wide calf sizing and with silicone band. This is probably the most versatile compression stockings you can wear.
