What kind of soap or detergent should I use to wash my compression stockings?
By: LegSmart - November 28, 2011

No softeners!

Please avoid any harsh detergents and softeners. A specially formulated elastic wash is usually appropriate to cleanse your compression sock or stocking while preserving its elasticity. Avoid cleaners made for wool, fabric softeners or bleach as it may damage the compression threads and shorten the life of your stockings.
